Robertson Recruitment are working with a manufacturing company as they currently recruit for an experienced spot welder to join our busy sheet metal fabrication team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on welding experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am – 16:00 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating spot welding machines safely and efficiently
- Spot welding sheet metal components to drawings and job instructions
- Checking weld quality and carrying out basic inspections
- Setting up jigs and fixtures as required
- Carrying out basic machine checks and routine maintenance
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a spot welder in a sheet metal or fabrication environment
- Ability to read and follow engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong understanding of health & safety in a manufacturing setting
