This role is part time, working three days per week, with the opportunity to transition to full time if you have a background in engineering and fabrication, allowing you to assist in the workshop on other projects. What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspect precision‑machined components
- Create detailed inspection reports
- Carry out goods‑in, first‑off, and in‑process inspections
- Report non‑conformances and help drive quality improvements
- Calibrate equipment to ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Work closely with the Design team to improve manufacturability and accuracy
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a quality role
- Experience in engineering / sheet metal industry
- Proficiency with traditional measuring tools
- Strong ability to interpret metric and imperial engineering drawings
- A passion for accuracy, problem‑solving, and high‑quality workmanship
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Knowledge of geometric tolerancing and CAD models
- A proactive, hands‑on approach to quality
Working Hours
3 days per week, 08:00–16:30. Or if you have the experience and capability to use laser cutting machinery, press brakes, welding, etc., we can offer a full‑time position for this role.
