This role is part time, working three days per week, with the opportunity to transition to full time if you have a background in engineering and fabrication, allowing you to assist in the workshop on other projects. Your expertise will directly support production quality, customer satisfaction, and the company’s reputation for engineering excellence. What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspect precision‑machined components
- Create detailed inspection reports
- Carry out goods‑in, first‑off, and in‑process inspections
- Report non‑conformances and help drive quality improvements
- Calibrate equipment to ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Work closely with the Design team to improve manufacturability and accuracy
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a quality role
- Experience in engineering / sheet metal industry
- Proficiency with traditional measuring tools
- Strong ability to interpret metric and imperial engineering drawings
- A passion for accuracy, problem‑solving, and high‑quality workmanship
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Knowledge of geometric tolerancing and CAD models
- A proactive, hands‑on approach to quality
Working Hours
3 days per week, 08:00–16:30. Or if you have the experience and capability to use laser cutting machinery, press brakes, welding, etc., we can offer a full‑time position for this role.
