Installing kitchens (units, worktops, sinks, appliances) in new build homes

Experience fitting kitchen appliances

Two locations available

Robertson Recruitment are working with our well-established client, based in Sutton Coldfield to find reliable and professional kitchen fitters to join a growing team, working on new build residential properties.

There are 2 locations available – Sutton Coldfield and Taunton

You’ll be responsible for fitting kitchen appliances (units, worktops, sinks and appliances) to the highest standards in brand‑new homes.

You will start off on a training salary of up to £32,000 for the first month or two (training duration), but please note if you are already very experienced, this may not be necessary and you will be straight onto the commission earning.

Commission earning is based on the amount of units / appliances that you fit.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 6am – 3pm

Responsibilities

  • Installing kitchens (units, worktops, sinks, appliances) in new build homes
  • Reading and interpreting site drawings and specifications
  • Working closely with site managers and other trades to deliver on time
  • Ensuring all work complies with health & safety and building regulations
  • Troubleshooting on-site issues and adapting installations as needed
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Being responsible for a company vehicle

What You Need To Have

  • Proven experience as a kitchen fitter (employed experience not personal)
  • Experience fitting kitchen appliances
  • Some carpentry/joinery skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Full UK driving licence and own tools/transport preferred
  • CSCS card
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
  • Be physically able to lift kitchen appliances
