Robertson Recruitment are on the lookout for a reliable HGV class 2 driver to work with an established food distribution business. Youfll play a key role in delivering a wide range of frozen, chilled, and ambient products to valued customers across the region including schools, restaurants, pubs, cafes, and other catering outlets. Please be aware this is a permanent role.
Working hours
Monday to Friday, 45 hours a week. Starts at 06:00. Overtime available. You will work one Saturday a month.
Responsibilities
- Driving a HGV class 2 vehicle to deliver multi-temperature food products
- Deliveries will be unloading at multiple sites and workers on site will be doing that for you
- Providing excellent customer service at every drop
- Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Qualifications For The Role
- Valid HGV class 2 licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Experience in multi-drop delivery is preferred
