Role Overview
Reporting directly to theFabrication Senior Team Leader, theFabrication Operatorswill be a motivated self-starterwhilst working as part of a team. They willberesponsible forthe safe running ofFabricationmachinesand ensureproduction ismaintainedat the highest quality and that production targets aremaintainedto the highest level.Safety will be your number one priority – actively contributing toanoharmculture through leading by example, deliveringhigh standardsof cleanliness and reliability aroundtheproduction machines.
This is a full time position, working Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all tasks are carried out to the Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) provided by the management.
- At all times have available in the work area and use the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the tasks you are carrying out.
- Onlyoperateequipment which you have been trained tooperate.
- Record information and data to ensure machineefficiency.
- Communicate with the Engineers and Senior Team Leaders to ensure problems are escalated and reported using the job card system to prioritise workload.
- At all times keep in mind the Company’s Guiding Principles and Values.
- Inform yoursupervisorof any suggestions that youhave toimprove things in your area.
- Work to build andmaintainstrong working relationships with your internal customers.
Skills and Experience
- Previousexperience of working withina manufacturing environment
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Previousexperience of using and achieving KPIs / performance measures
- Working to tight deadlines and prioritising workload Able to accurately complete paperwork
- Must be process and solution driven
- Mustconsider all sides/options uncovering root cause
- To be flexible in the way you think, making decisions efficiently and handling change to ensure everything we do is right
