Role Overview
To contribute to the overall success of the People agenda in delivering a proactive and customer focused People & Culture service by providing effective support, guidance and advice to managers and staff members on a wide variety of People & Culture matters, such as employee relations, policy and process, recruitment and the delivery of key projects.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high quality People & Culture advice and guidance to managers, supporting the effective resolution of complex and sensitive employee relations issues.
Advise and coach managers on the application and interpretation of People policies, procedures and employment legislation.
Support the implementation and embedding of People and Culture strategies and initiatives across the organisation.
Manage and support complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability and absence management matters.
Support recruitment activity, including job descriptions, person specifications, job evaluations and selection processes.
Produce People data analytics and reports, maintaining confidentiality and data accuracy at all times.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, practices and technology solutions.
Skills and Experience Experience of employee relations and absence management case work.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Good working knowledge of employment law, People policies and procedures.
Willingness to travel to other company sites.
