Responsibilities- Develop and implement a clear, ambitious sales strategy for ADEY across all channels including Residential (merchant account management and residential demand generation), Commercial and OEM.
- Identify new market opportunities and drive initiatives to expand customer base and market share.
- Ensure delivery of annual revenue and margin targets.
- Lead, inspire and develop the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
- Build a performance-driven, customer-focused culture.
- Provide coaching, mentoring and succession planning to strengthen capability.
- Maintain and grow key customer relationships to support long-term partnerships.
- Champion the voice of the customer, ensuring ADEY’s solutions meet evolving market needs.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, R&D and operations teams to ensure an integrated approach to the customer experience.
- Oversee pricing, contract negotiation and sales pipeline management.
- Deliver accurate forecasting and reporting of sales performance to the Managing Director and Group stakeholders.
- Work with ADEY senior leadership team to provide strategic insight to develop and implement the ADEY business strategy.
- Ensure sales processes, policies and controls are compliant with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Promote ethical sales practices and uphold the company’s trademark behaviours.
- Proven track record as a senior sales leader in a technical solutions, HVAC or water treatment company.
- Well connected with a strong commercial reputation in the UK HVAC water treatment sector and an understanding of the competitive landscape and market knowledge.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience of setting and delivering strategic sales plans.
- Data-driven and results-focussed, with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to drive a sales organisation utilizing S&OP methodology.
- Collaborative leadership style, able to work effectively across functions.
- Proven sales executive experience exceeding targets, with ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, preferably in the water treatment sector.
- Strong track record of developing strategies which have generated incremental profitable sales.
- Excellent relationship-building, influencing and negotiation skills.

ADEY, the market leader in the provision of residential water treatment products for closed loop heating and cooling systems in the UK, is looking for a Sales Director (Domestic Markets). Part of the Genuit Groups’ Climate Management Solutions (CMS) business unit, ADEY has ambitious growth plans to continue protecting the world's heating and cooling systems, to have a positive impact on the environment and people's lives.
The role is accountable for leading the ADEY Group sales strategy in the UK and Ireland, delivering sustainable revenue, increased market share and customer satisfaction. As a key member of the leadership team, the Sales Director (Domestic Markets) will drive high-performance culture across the sales organisation, ensuring alignment with ADEY’s values, commercial objectives and the wider Genuit Group strategy. The Sales Director (Domestic Markets) will report to ADEY MD contributing to overall strategic direction, culture and management of ADEY Group. The Sales Director will lead key customer and client relationships. In addition to being a member of the ADEY Leadership team, this role will also contribute to the wider Genuit Group Leadership team. ADEY head office is in Stonehouse, Gloucester, where frequent meetings are held. The role will involve travel across the UK and Ireland to customers, ADEY Group sites and Genuit Group offices.
