Role Overview
As a Specification Sales Manager you will develop specifications and grow our specification funnel, focusing on technical multi product specifications that drive our sustainability and reuse offering, across our key market sectors by engaging with the design community, focusing on consultants, architects, landscape architects, structural engineers, and clients. And create pull through by engaging with main contractors, associated contractors, local authorities, and utility providers. The role is part of the Central England and Wales sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strong technical specifications
- Robust management of project opportunity
- Build awareness of the full Polypipe C&GU offering with design community
- Develop specifications that provide solutions spanning the full build process
- Promote the Polypipe C&GU sustainability and reuse offering with consultants, architects, landscape architects, structural engineers, and clients
- Provide support and awareness across all departments
Skills and Experience
- Commercial and technical sales experience
- Proven record in project and pipeline management
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Adaptable and self-motivated
- Strong IT skills including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
- Must have a valid UK Driving Licence
