Role Overview

The Product Manager shapes the long term vision for our product portfolio while steering ongoing development and day to day performance. It’s a role positioned at the centre of our business, connecting manufacturing and supply chain, sales and marketing, and the needs of our markets and customers. You’ll ensure each product meets customer expectations, complies with regulatory standards, and delivers on commercial goals. Success in this role means keeping our ranges competitive on performance, cost, and quality while anticipating future opportunities and challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision, positioning, and long‐term roadmap based on customer needs, market trends, and business priorities.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle from concept and development through launch, optimisation, and end‐of‐life.
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales to manage new products and product changes effectively.
  • Monitor production performance, yield and quality metrics to identify product improvement opportunities.
  • Translate market, customer, and regulatory requirements into clear product specifications.
  • Track product cost structures and lead cost‐down initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Gather customer feedback through visits, field data, and service reports.
  • Support new product introductions, including pricing, positioning and go‐to‐market readiness.
  • Ensure products comply with all applicable codes, standards and certifications.
  • Develop and maintain the category plan and a rolling 5‐year product roadmap.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience working in Product Management.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‐functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, production processes, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data‐driven mindset with strong analytical ability.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and product lifecycle management tools.
  • Must have a valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Willingness to work at various UK locations to deliver on projects.
