The Role
As HR Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering day-to-day HR support and guiding managers through people-related matters. You will:
- Provide first-line HR advice to managers and employees across a range of topics including performance, absence, conduct, and wellbeing.
- Support employee relations cases, ensuring fair, consistent and timely resolution.
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities, helping to attract and integrate new talent.
- Manage HR processes and documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and great employee experience.
- Support learning and development initiatives, including training coordination and tracking.
- Maintain HR systems and data, producing reports and insights to support decision-making.
- Contribute to HR projects such as policy updates, engagement initiatives, and process improvements.
The Person
We’re looking for someone who brings both capability and confidence to the role:
- Strong HR knowledge with experience advising on policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Sound judgement with the confidence to coach and challenge when needed.
- Organised and detail-focused, able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with a positive approach to change.
- CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards) is desirable.
