About Polypipe Building Products

Polypipe Building Products focuses on delivering solutions to the residential sector. We work with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders, and groundworkers to provide above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions, and hot and cold plastic plumbing products.

Role Overview

This role supports the sales team and addresses the needs of the business across various sales areas, covering the postcodes of AB, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, HS, IV, KA, KW, KY, ML, PA, PH, ZE.

The primary objective is to drive sales by promoting technical specifications with private and social housing developers and local authorities. Additionally, you will grow sales within plumbing, heating, and drainage markets, contributing to growth through existing and new merchant accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain full specification of the company\'s product range with private house builders.
  • Develop awareness and specifications of our products with social housing builders and local authorities.
  • Manage regional design consultants, architects, main clients (developers), groundworkers, and plumbing contractors within your territory.
  • Utilize CRM to convert leads and opportunities, maintaining customer records and data management.
  • Manage relationships with major contractors in private and social housing markets.
  • Support regional site auditors and auditing processes, including site verification, rebate claims, and compliance reporting.
  • Report on compliance improvements identified by regional auditors.
  • Maintain records of sites for rebate claims.
  • Manage price increase implementations and profitability of agreements.
  • Understand and report on specifications across AG, BG, PP, UFH, On & Off Plot routes.

Skills & Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in merchant, contractor, and developer markets.
  • Construction industry sales experience is essential.
  • Proficiency with CRM and information systems.
