Role Overview
To own the end‑to‑end performance and strategy of a defined product or category across all markets and sales channels, ensuring the portfolio delivers sustainable revenue growth, margin expansion, and competitive differentiation throughout the product/category lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver clear product/category strategies and roadmaps aligned to overall business objectives, driving revenue growth and profitability.
- Define and communicate compelling value propositions tailored to target users, customers, and markets.
- Generate robust market insights, including segmentation, forecasting, competitor analysis, and identification of growth opportunities.
- Own the full product lifecycle (concept to end‑of‑life), optimising portfolio performance and supporting effective planning and forecasting processes.
- Set and manage commercial performance targets (revenue, margin, growth), working cross‑functionally to deliver results and address gaps.
- Lead pricing strategy and value‑based selling approaches to maximise margin and ensure consistent market positioning.
- Drive new product development (NPD), from concept through to launch, including business cases, specifications, and cross‑functional delivery.
- Oversee marketing direction by briefing teams, shaping messaging, and ensuring high‑quality, consistent execution across channels.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and act as the technical/product expert, maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of industry standards and requirements.
