Role Overview

To assure the production of quality products to meet the requirements of our approvals and our customers’ expectations.

This is a full time position, working a schedule of 4 on, 4 off from 7am-7pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out internal audits as required.
  • Perform Quality Control testing on finished goods in line with standard procedures.
  • Test raw materials to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Calibrate test equipment or arrange for equipment calibration when required.
  • Inspect customer and site returns through the RMA process.
  • Assist with type approval of new products and certification processes.
  • Support certification body audits and visits by completing required testing activities.
  • Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping within departmental work areas.
  • Support corrective and preventative actions and contribute to risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Assist within the UKAS laboratory and complete all mandatory training requirements.

Skills and Experience

Excellent communication skills at all levels.

Proven ability to follow processes and procedures accurately.

Good standard of PC literacy, including Microsoft Office packages.

Willingness to work occasional weekends and overtime.

Previous experience of working in Continuous Improvement initiatives would be greatly advantageous.
