Role Overview
Working as part of a team, responsible for the safe, correct loading/offloading of finished goods and carrying out housekeeping duties.
Working to a high standard and filling out loading/picking lists daily.
You will work Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and offload finished goods as part of the yard operations team.
- Complete all mandatory training requirements.
- Liaise with the Shift Supervisor and Lead Loader regarding all unloading and loading requirements.
- Ensure all loads are loaded correctly and double‑checked before dispatch.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the yard area.
- Work in accordance with Safe Systems of Work (SSo W) at all times.
- Ensure the safety of colleagues, HGV drivers and others within the work area.
- Complete and record FLT checks where applicable and wear all required PPE.
- Support continuous improvement by contributing ideas and improvement suggestions.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal customers and stakeholders.
