Location: Worcester, Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Birmingham

Role Overview:

As an Urban Greening Installer, you will play a key role in the installation of various urban greening projects, including podium landscaping, green roofs, and green walls. You will work closely with supervisors and operational teams to ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality and health and safety. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of Sky Garden’s services, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install green roofs, podiums, and green walls, under the supervision of your manager.
• Review and understand construction drawings, identifying and addressing issues as they arise on site.
• Maintain full awareness and understanding of company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures on site.
• Deliver projects to the highest standards of quality, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team environment, promoting teamwork across the installation teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations and processes.

• Maintain strict confidentiality at all times regarding company and client information.
• Work efficiently and safely, adhering to appropriate training, company Health & Safety policy, and HSE guidelines.
• Demonstrate professionalism in all communications with clients and staff, both written and verbal.
• Show initiative, working with minimal supervision while ensuring strict adherence to deadlines and attention to detail.
• Display an enthusiastic, flexible, and conscientious approach to work.
• Upon induction, demonstrate a clear understanding of Sky Garden’s structure, values, and procedures.

Personal Specification:

Qualifications:

• CSCS Card (Blue card preferred)
• All necessary training will be provided
• Opportunities for further qualifications, such as NVQ/SSSTS

Experience & Skills:

• No experience required beyond a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Previous experience in urban greening, landscaping, or commercial construction is beneficial but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
• Ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.

Knowledge & Other Relevant Factors:

• Willingness to gain knowledge in construction, landscaping, and urban greening.
• High level of self-motivation and a desire to develop new skills.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Ability to travel across the UK, with occasional overnight stays.
