Role Overview
To engage and build relationships with tier 1 and 2 contractors nationwide, introducing all products, solutions and services that Polypipe Civils and Green Urbanisation manufacture and offer. The role will cover managing key accounts and key relationships in the South of the UK, everything South of South Wales through to East Anglia.
Key Responsibilities
- Build lasting relationships with key personnel within the key account business.
- Understand contractor business models, sectors, and requirements.
- Provide full solution selling across the complete range of products and services.
- Coordinate project teams across PPC&GU and wider departments and manage through to conclusion.
- Introduce relevant personnel from PPC&GU, WMS, and the wider Genuit Group to contractor contacts as required.
- Achieve and exceed budgets, KPIs, and maintain accurate project logs.
- Represent the company professionally at trade shows, events, and meetings.
- Ensure compliance with all mandatory training and health & safety obligations, including maintaining appropriate PPE and vehicle checks.
- Participate in product training, external courses, and development programmes (e.g. NH Roads Academy, Sales/Management Academy).
- Contribute to continuous improvement through sharing best practice and ongoing mentoring.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience within a key account management role.
- Experience of working with Tier 1 & 2 customers is essential.
- Experience delivering client focused solutions to customer needs.
- Skilled in navigating the full contractor decision cycle.
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
