The role: Efficient, effective repair and maintenance of plant, equipment and machinery.
Working hours: This is working 4 on 4 off covering 2 days & 2 nights, 12 hour shifts.
Key Accountabilities:
- Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance to maximise overall machine efficiency.
- Effectively prioritise workload to maintain plant and equipment to a high standard.
- Ensure consistency in quality of work across the various lines.
- To actively and analytically fault find.
- Contribute to implementing new working methods and actively take part in continuous improvement.
- Ensure smooth changeovers/handovers between shifts.
- To understand company performance measurements
- Any other duties that can be reasonably expected.
The person:
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering experience (recognised Apprenticeship)
- Previous experience in Industrial Maintenance is beneficial
- Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to prioritise workloads and multi-task
- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable to work both days and nights
