Role Overview: The Site Services Electrician supports all functions within the Site Services team, carrying out both planned maintenance and reactive maintenance activities. The role is responsible for maintaining high standards of HSE compliance and ensuring exemplary housekeeping across all work areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform breakdown diagnostics, repairs, planned and corrective maintenance, inspection, verification and associated administrative duties
- Involvement and leading focused improvement initiatives
- Carry out remedial repairs as defined by TPM requirements
- Utilisation of Permit to Work, risk assessment and COSHH information/procedures
- Respond promptly and effectively to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Enter maintenance and operational data accurately into relevant systems
- To perform clerical and housekeeping duties as needed
- Ensures strict compliance with company Health & Safety procedures
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Dealing with Contractors working on site
Skills & Requirements:
- Time served/ Apprentice Electrical Engineer, C&G standard and minimum NVQ Level 3
- Ability to work independently and be able to test and inspect
- Ability to understand and follow specific drawings, instructions and procedures
- Ability to diagnose faults on hydraulic and pneumatic systems or fixed wiring, PLC and Drive systems
- Ability to recognise equipment anomalies
- Practical knowledge of IEEE guidelines
- Practical knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations
- Demonstrate core company values (Our Ways of Working)
- Perform any other duties as appropriate within skills/competency level
- Maintain timekeeping and housekeeping
- Industrial experience highly desirable
- Manual handling and welding skills
Working Hours & Benefits:
