There are two openings within the business at the moment for Continuous Improvement Leads, internally known as GBS (Genuit Business System) Leads. As a GBS Lead, you will partner closely with designated departments, supporting and empowering teams to work smarter and more effectively. By championing the Genuit Business System (GBS)—its tools, techniques, and behaviours—you will help colleagues identify better ways of working and embed continuous improvement into everyday activity.

- You’ll facilitate Kaizen events, lead the process of identifying the most impactful events and reporting on the events success.
- Responding to daily challenges you’ll lead root cause analysis workshops and following the completion of corrective and preventative actions.
We take ownership
- You will take ownership of your role and deliver results.
- Taking local ownership of implementing the Genuit Business System you’ll deliver departmental improvements.
- As the GBS Lead you’ll own a suite of KPI’s that you’ll analyse, update and action.
- You’ll manage your departmental CIP portfolio ensuring projects are progressed and the correct practices are followed.

- Experienced in SMED you’ll coordinate focused events targeted at reducing changeover times.
- Experienced in TPM you’ll coordinate focused events targeted at reducing downtime and increasing machine OEE.
- Collaborating with the wider GBS team you’ll attend networking events, sharing best practice workshops and become part of the GBS team.
- Using process mapping techniques you’ll deep dive into business processes to reduce or remove non-value adding steps.
- Using the business process measures you’ll recognise areas for improvement and through pareto analysis identify the most effective way to deliver those improvements.
Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience in a continuous improvement role within a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Project management skills with a track record of success.
- Knowledge of Lean tools and principles, including Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Visual Management, Root Cause Analysis, A3 Problem Solving, 8 Wastes, SMED, TPM and Daily Management.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, with strong analytical and data-driven thinking.
- Understanding of process capability measurement (CpK).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A technical qualification in Engineering or Business Management.
