Polyframe is looking for Window Fabricators / Production Operatives to join its manufacturing team in Lenwade. This is a practical, hands-on role making uPVC windows and doors. It would suit someone who has worked in window fabrication, door manufacturing, glazing, beading, frame assembly, uPVC production or a similar factory role using hand tools, air tools or machinery.

Shifts available:

  • Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 2.00pm
  • Monday to Friday, 2.15pm to 10.15pm

What’s on offer:

  • Permanent, full-time role
  • £12.76 per hour starting rate
  • Progression to £13.06 and £13.81 per hour
  • Realistic progression within 3 to 6 months after training
  • Weekly bonus scheme, based on targets
  • £20 per week shift allowance for the PM shift

  • 22 days’ holiday, rising to 25 days with service, plus Bank Holidays

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll work as part of a busy production team manufacturing uPVC window and door products. Your role will include:

  • Cutting uPVC profiles
  • Reinforcing and welding window frames
  • Attaching handles and mechanisms
  • Using hand tools, air tools and production machinery
  • Beading and glazing windows
  • Checking finished products for quality
  • Handling and loading window frames safely
  • Working to production targets
  • Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe

What we’re looking for:

We are especially keen to hear from people with experience in:

  • Window fabrication
  • Door manufacturing
  • uPVC or aluminium fabrication
  • Glazing, beading or frame assembly
  • Factory production using hand tools or power tools
  • Practical assembly-style manufacturing

You do not need to have done this exact role before, but you do need to be practical, reliable, hands-on and comfortable working in a busy production environment. Previous window or door experience would be a strong advantage.
