PolyAI automates customer service through lifelike voice assistants that let customers lead a conversation. Our voice assistants make it possible for businesses to deliver outstanding customer service that rivals their human agents. Our customers, which include the world’s leading logos, are expanding how they use our platform, driving automation of critical customer service operations and integrating PolyAI into their daily customer service workflows. This role is part‑time, requiring a 2‑3 day weekly commitment on your preferred days. The contract will last approximately 3 months.
Your Responsibilities
- Improving the language understanding module by providing high‑quality sentence training examples
- Updating system prompts based on client requests
- Managing and uploading voice recordings
- Testing conversational systems extensively before go‑live
- Reviewing customer calls and flagging problematic conversations to the team
- Working with Software Engineers and Dialogue Designers to produce the best conversational UX and the highest call containment
Minimum Requirements
- Native/fluent Turkish speaker
- Professional working proficiency in English (our shared language)
- Great communicator who enjoys working in a diverse team
- Meticulous with an eye for detail
- Can‑do attitude with a high standard for your own work
- Passionate about great user experiences and want to deliver the best UX to customers
- Interested in natural language understanding technologies and curious about how advanced conversational AI is changing contact centres
Preferred Requirements
- Ability to work within UK working hours (minimum 4h overlap with 10am‑6pm UK day)
- Experience in natural language technologies and a rough understanding of how they work
- Experience in translation and/or linguistics
- Experience in data science and related areas
- Experience in tech industries and understanding of how software works
- Experience in working with startups
- Experience in jobs that involve language skills, such as linguistics, translation, scripting writing, etc.
