PolyAI is looking for a Senior Social Media & Communications Manager to own how we show up externally and internally. You’ll run our social channels, help shape the corporate narrative, elevate our leaders’ voices, and make sure our employees feel connected and informed. You’ll turn launches, customer moments, and category news into owned, earned, and paid social that lands.
You’ll sit inside Comms and work closely with PR, Brand and Content, and Product Marketing. This is a strategic role for someone who can set a communications roadmap and execute it, speaking fluently to both the enterprise buyer and the developer who builds on PolyAI.
You're a builder
You don’t wait on an agency to do the work. You build and run your own engine, using AI agents and automations to draft, version, repurpose, schedule, and report at a pace that scales beyond one person. The people who thrive here are AI‑fluent, biased toward shipping, and spend their time on ideas that break through rather than tasks that can be automated away.
What you'll do
- Own PolyAI's social media strategy and day‑to‑day execution: earned, owned, and paid, across external and internal audiences
- Drive a consistent corporate narrative, ensuring everything we publish sounds unmistakably like PolyAI
- Partner with PR to elevate executive social and thought leadership presence
- Build and run an employee advocacy program that extends our reach through the people who know us best
- Partner with Brand and Content to create & adapt video, design, and editorial for social
- Run social listening and community engagement, with a real‑time monitoring and response capability
- Report on what's working: share of voice, coverage quality, social reach and engagement, and contribution to top of funnel
- Track and build a customer advocacy program, surfacing customer stories and amplifying advocates across channels
- Partner with senior leadership on company‑wide internal communications initiatives, keeping employees up‑to‑date and engaged on our values and execution
What success looks like
- PolyAI's communications are consistent, high‑quality, and always on, no dark calendars, no off‑brand moments
- Our corporate narrative is sharp and lands clearly with enterprise buyers, analysts, and the press
- Launch and milestone moments generate coverage and engagement that compound over time
- Executive and employee programs add measurable reach and credibility
- Communications contributes visibly to category leadership and top‑of‑funnel pipeline
- AI fluency means your output scales well beyond a single headcount
What you bring
- 7+ years in corporate communications, with experience spanning social, PR, and executive or internal comms
- Hands‑on experience at a B2B technology company, ideally a best‑in‑class scale‑up
- Strong social‑native writing, with a feel for voice and platform differences
- Comfort with enterprise buyers as the primary audience, with developer or technical audience experience a plus
- Demonstrated track record of managing communications programs end‑to‑end, not just executing against a brief
- Fluency with modern comms, social, listening, and scheduling tooling, and genuine eagerness to build AI into your workflow
- A bias toward action and shipping, with the taste to keep quality high at speed
- Experience with executive social, employee advocacy, video‑first social, or community building is a plus.
We hire for what you can do, not where you learned to do it. If you've operated at this level without holding this exact title, apply.
Benefits
- Participation in the company’s employee share options plan
- Tenure‑Based PTO: You will receive 25 holidays when you join and will gain an additional 1 day after 2 years of service, then 1 day each year until capped at 32 holidays

- Work from outside of the UK for up to 6 months each year
- TELUS Health EAP 24/7 - offers you and your chosen family confidential, judgment‑free support for any work, health, or life challenge

- One‑off WFH allowance when you join, offering perks like noise‑cancelling headphones or a comfortable desk chair to boost your comfort and focus!
