We’re looking for a talented and driven DevOps Engineer to join our team in London. This is a full-time, hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work from home with a few days a week in our central London office. As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role in optimizing our infrastructure, automating workflows, and enabling scalable, secure deployments. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about reliability, clean pipelines, and creating the foundation for fast-moving development teams.
Your responsibility will involve:
- Delivering production-ready, reliable, and scalable infrastructure on time.
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to define cloud architecture and implement best practices.
- Automate cloud operations with infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Optimise cloud resources for cost-efficiency while maintaining performance and security standards.
- Engage in incident response and troubleshooting efforts for cloud-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Proficiency in Python. Experience with Kubernetes cluster management, containerisation and container orchestration using Docker. Proven experience with CI/CD - GitOps, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions preferable. Hands-on experience managing a cloud production with one of the main cloud providers - AWS, Azure, GCP. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform. Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- Understanding of cybersecurity standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, such as scrum, kanban, and sprints.
- A love of learning and enjoyment in trying new things.
- Enjoys technical challenges and want to contribute directly to solutions.
