Aim of the Role

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic Hotel Receptionist to join our Front Office team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a warm welcome and ensuring every stay runs smoothly from arrival to departure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver Exceptional Guest Service
  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests
  • Manage check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently and accurately
  • Handle guest enquiries in person, by phone, and via email
  • Assist guests with information about hotel facilities and local attractions
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly, escalating where necessary
  • Ensure guest accounts and billing are accurate
  • Support Front Office Operations
    • Process reservations, amendments, and cancellations
    • Operate the hotel’s property management system
    • Handle payments and maintain accurate records
    • Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Maintenance teams
    • Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area
    • Follow hotel procedures, standards, and security policies
  • Contribute to a Positive Team Environment
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments
    • Support the team during busy periods
    • Demonstrate flexibility and a proactive attitude
    • Uphold the hotel’s brand values and service standards at all times

    What We’re Looking For

    • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service (hotel experience desirable but not essential)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Professional telephone manner
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
    • A calm, positive approach under pressure
    • Basic IT proficiency (PMS experience advantageous)
    • Smart and professional presentation
