We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join our Retail Sales team in Cheltenham. As a Poltronesof Deputy Manager, you are responsible for supporting the Store Manager in driving the performance and day-to-day operations of the store and leading in their absence. You will work with our team to ensure they provide a 5-star customer journey and optimise KPI performance while maintaining high operational standards. You will also coach and support the team to deliver sales targets while making sure our customers are supported in helping create a home they love.

As a Deputy Store Manager, you can earn more as you sell more; our uncapped commission structure puts you in control of your income. Responsibilities include:

  • Continuously coaching to develop and improve colleagues' performance by carrying out regular performance reviews.
  • Ensuring expert knowledge throughout the store team on Poltronesof Furniture, holding regular training sessions on all products and services.
  • Supporting the recruitment, onboarding, management, and development of the team.
  • Being responsible for driving performance, delivering targets, KPIs, and maximising sales opportunities in line with the store business plan and business priorities.
  • Supporting colleagues with customer orders and finance applications.
  • Delivering exceptional, market-leading customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty, referrals, and 5-star customer reviews.
  • Continuously identifying opportunities to make improvements which will optimise the operational running of the store.
  • Taking pride in your store and taking responsibility for maintaining its presentation to a high standard to ensure the store is set up for success.
