Then we’d love you to join us at Poltronesof as a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver. You’ll be part of a supportive team dedicated to bringing smiles to customers’ faces, not just furniture to their door.
All you need in order to apply is:
- A Category C1 vehicle licence
- A driver digital tachograph card
- The relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence)
Previous furniture delivery experience can be a benefit, but we find personality and the ability to learn new skills more important.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering and installing furniture in customers’ homes
- Working through a delivery schedule with the support of your crew mate
- Working as part of a wider distribution centre team in helping to load and unload furniture onto our vehicles
- Making sure the team is safe by carrying out checks and driving safely
Work 44 hours over 4 days with every Sunday off.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a driving role
- Driver digital tachograph card
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling as this role involves heavy lifting
- Experience in a warehouse environment (desirable)
