What’s the opportunity?

If you’re all about making the people around you smile and delivering a great service for customers then you could be the perfect fit for us. All you need in order to apply is a Category C1 vehicle licence, a driver digital tachograph card and the relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence). We’ll sort the rest! Previous furniture delivery experience can be a benefit, but we find personality and the ability to learn new skills more important.

What does the role involve?

  • Delivering and installing furniture in customers’ homes
  • Working through a delivery schedule with the support of your crew mate
  • Work as part of a wider distribution centre team in helping to load and unload furniture onto our vehicles
  • Providing a brilliant service to our customers and encouraging their feedback
  • Making sure the team is safe by carrying out checks and driving safely
  • Work 44 hours over 4 days with every Sunday off. Flexibility would be required in peak periods
  • Heavy lifting

Who are we looking for?

  • Previous experience within a driving role
  • Category C1 vehicle licence
  • Driver digital tachograph card
  • Relevant drivers CPC qualification (certificate of professional competence)
  • Knowledge and understanding of safety requirements of operating a vehicle and is familiar with the use and regulation of tachographs
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow processes and procedures
  • Strives to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling as this role involves heavy lifting
  • Hard working
  • Team player
  • Experience in a warehouse environment (desirable)
