The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
This role provides dedicated business analysis support to the replacement finance system project within Polo Works. The Business Analyst (BA) will work closely with business users, delivery teams, and technology partners to gather, understand and document clear requirements and support delivery through the full project lifecycle. In particular, the BA for this project also leads interfaces with the HR system, the end-to-end automated invoicing process, and the replacement of the time recording processes and system.

Compensation: £600 / day
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture and document business requirements, processes, and data needs for new and existing change initiatives.
- Work with stakeholders across PoloWorks and, where required, Marco functions including operations, finance, underwriting support, and technology.
- Support analysis and mapping of data flows between core systems and work/time recording mechanism and data sources, including HR, finance, operations and reporting tools.
- Produce clear and structured documentation such as requirement specifications, user stories, business cases, process maps, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood, developed, and tested appropriately.
- Support test planning and execution including defining test cases and participating in UAT.
- Participate in the planning, business readiness and execution of the cutover from old to new business processes including the smooth transition of both systems and workflows.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of business processes, identifying areas for optimisation or automation.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, requirements workshops, and project stand-ups.
- Work with project managers to track progress, highlight risks and ensure successful delivery of business outcomes.
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within an insurance or financial services environment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience documenting requirements, processes, and data logic.
- Understanding of data structures and familiarity with working on data/reporting initiatives.
- Ability to build effective relationships with business and technical stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in producing documentation including process flows, data flows, operating procedures, and test plans.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including stakeholder facilitation and presentation.
- Comfortable working in an environment of evolving priorities and concurrent projects.
- Experience of transitioning a business from one finance system to another.
Desirable:
- Experience of working within the insurance sector.
- Experience implementing Sage Intacct and, ideally, some experience of SunAccounts 6.3.
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Visio, and Excel.
- Understanding of agile and waterfall project delivery methods.
