We are seeking a diligent and motivated Assistant Technician to join our team. This is a fantastic entry level role for a candidate to kick start their career within the insurance market!
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing accurate information within set benchmarks and in accordance with agreed procedures. This role involves analysing technical data, calculating transactions, and contributing to team success through personal development and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Process London Market Insurance underwriting data in accordance with established procedure guides.
- Analyse technical data and calculate technical transactions, including limits, premiums, and deductions.
- Collaborate effectively as a proactive and supportive team member.
- Demonstrate commitment by taking pride in work, supporting colleagues, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Work closely with the line manager to contribute to team success.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with client counterparts.
- Support cross-functional teams and contribute across multiple client accounts as needed.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on service excellence and client experience.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grades 4 and above, including Mathematics and English Language.
- Willingness to study for the CII qualification.
