We are expanding our Talent Acquisition team to support our growing business and are seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor for a 9-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will play a key part in driving our growth by partnering closely with hiring managers and delivering exceptional recruitment outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced in-house recruiter with a proven track record of managing the full recruitment lifecycle and building strong, collaborative relationships across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, advising on attraction strategies, sourcing approaches, and candidate assessment.
  • Provide end-to-end recruitment support across a portfolio of roles, acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
  • Conduct market mapping and proactive sourcing through professional networks, social platforms, and direct search methodologies.
  • Lead initial CV screening and candidate shortlisting, providing insight-led recommendations for interview selection.
  • Coordinate and manage interview processes, including scheduling, documentation, and candidate communications.
  • Support candidate assessment and profiling activity, ensuring fair, consistent, and high-quality hiring decisions.
  • Liaise with HR and hiring managers on preferred candidates, supporting pre-offer discussions and decision-making.
  • Administer and continuously improve onboarding processes to ensure a positive and engaging new starter experience.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate journey through clear communication, timely feedback, and professional engagement.
  • Maintain relationships with both successful and unsuccessful candidates to strengthen employer brand and future talent pipelines.
  • Actively contribute to the development and refinement of recruitment processes, tools, and ways of working.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven experience as an in-house resourcer or Talent Acquisition professional in a high-volume environment (insurance/reinsurance desirable).
  • Strong experience using Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and supporting recruitment decision-making.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and administrative capability.
  • High professional and ethical standards.
  • Candidate-centric mindset with a strong focus on experience.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple vacancies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
