About the Company
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to build something new: to lay the foundations of a mid-value programme, contribute to a culture of insight-led fundraising, and help secure long-term funding that supports hospice care for generations to come.
Responsibilities
- Develop and run the mid-value programme to identify and cultivate a strong pipeline of mid-value donors, nurturing relationships to increase engagement and giving potential.
- Develop tailored stewardship plans, providing a personalised experience to deepen donor connections and increase engagement for our mid-value regular donors and regular one-off donors.
- Support the Individual Giving Manager with the upgrade of existing regular donor support and contribute to ideas for regular donor acquisition.
- Explore opportunities for a mid-value membership programme or product that would maximise income and long-term commitment.
- Engage with supporters through calls, videos, meetings, and events, sharing the impact of their generosity and exploring opportunities for increased giving.
Person specification
- A curious mind and a passion for communicating with our supporters.
- Previous experience or transferable skills in a fundraising/sales/membership driven environment.
- Demonstrable ability to provide excellent personalised stewardship/customer care to supporters/clients/customers, cultivating long-term relationships and making them feel valued.
- Proven experience of client/stakeholder management or high levels of customer service.
- Able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to positively influence internal and external audiences.
- An understanding of how to use data and analysis to inform decision making.

- A confident and tenacious communicator, able to engage and inspire supporters through conversations, written communication and events.
- Keen to, and enjoys getting to, know people and taking time to understand their motivations and desires for supporting hospice care.
