Opened in 1954 for rocket engine testing, Peebles has spent more than 70 years evolving into a critical part of GE Aerospace’s engine journey serving as the final stop before engines go on the wing of an airplane. Role Overview:
Assist in the engine dis-assembly, repair, prep for test, and de-prep following approved instructions and practices. Assist in installing engines in the test stand and setup for test, including special or slave systems. Assist in the operation of the current family of engines, following approved work requests, and ensuring the engine is operated within published limits. Maintain good communications with support organizations and the team.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
- 1+ year of experience in a mechanical discipline
- Ability to use hand tools, calibrated tooling and precision measurement instruments
