This is a Hybrid role, working from our London (Moorgate) Offices 2 days per week.

What You’ll Be Doing As an Engineering Team Lead you build and lead a high-performing, healthy engineering team.
You own the delivery of your team's quarterly objectives, the growth of your direct reports, and the day-to-day culture that lets great work happen.
You stay hands-on, but your impact comes through your people and what the team delivers. You build a team that stays successful without you needing to step in.
- Provide mentorship, constructive feedback, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Address underperformance decisively and advocate for your reports in calibration and promotion
- Motivate the team, remove blockers, and track performance to ensure accountability
- Work closely with Product, QA, and Technical Leaders to align on strategy and execution
- Ensure clear, open communication in remote, hybrid, and in-person settings
- Identify and mitigate risks, addressing challenges proactively
- Own the holistic health of your team across people, process, and quality
- Stay hands-on in software development, guiding engineers at a technical level
- Advocate for the customer, balancing customer, team, and business needs in your decisions
- We’re Looking For
- A track record of leading and delivering complex projects
- Experience leading or mentoring engineers, and the appetite to own the full management remit, from hiring and development through to the harder people conversations
- Extensive commercial experience with C# & . Net
- Strong technical background in modern software development practices and cloud-based scalable architecture
- A customer-focused, commercially aware and data-informed approach to your decision making
- Ability to manage cross-team dependencies, collaborating effectively with Product, QA, and other stakeholders
