By spending your year in industry with us, you will:
Take on responsibility as you are supported and trained throughout your year.
Join us for a year-long placement from the end of June 2027 to the end of July 2028.
Work in a fast-paced environment at our state-of-the-art factory in Brackley.
Be an integral part of a cohort of students working across all functions of our team.
Key Responsibilities
You will be involved in all aspects of the development, deployment and support of the off-car software stack, supporting the operation of the simulators, R&D facilities, and race cars.
You will immerse yourself in remote operational support of events, providing real-time monitoring and ensuring robustness of the data production processes that support high-performance engineering decisions.
You will also interface with stakeholders across the business to provide assistance, understand issues and feature requests, and work with the wider group to plan work going forward.
About You
Essential
- Be currently studying a strong degree in a relevant computer science discipline.
- Have an awareness of .NET, Python.
- Have an awareness of devops and deployment processes.
- Have a passion about reaching their full potential and are excited about constantly learning; a passion for motorsport is an advantage.
- Have at least one year remaining on your current course or be enrolled on your next course* from the point at which you start your placement with us (*please note that if you will be enrolled on a Masters or PhD course you will need to be able to evidence enrolment to confirm eligibility).
- Have flexibility in hours, enthusiasm to support F1 race weekend work is required, along with a ‘can do’, ‘team-playing’ attitude and the ability to work to strict deadlines under minimal supervision.
- Take full ownership of their work, driving projects forward with initiative and independence.
- Relish challenges and enjoy pushing for continuous improvement.
- Whatever your background and motorsport interest, we believe that you will find your placement with us a memorable and enriching experience.
