Job Description Welcome payment – Earn 1,000pa extra if you join us between now and the 31st of August*. Class 1 Driver Location : Lesmahagow Shift : Monday to Friday, Days and Nights Days start between 06:00hrs – 08:00hrs Nights start between 18:00hrs – 20:00hrs. Do you have a UK Class 1 CE Licence? If \”YES,\” we want to hear from you! Current Opportunities: Day Driver – Use a curtain side trailer to deliver palletised goods, ensuring smooth and timely deliveries. Starting salary is 34,769 per annum, based on 48 hours per week. Night Driver – Use a curtain side trailer to trunk palletised goods from Lesmahagow to Warrington and Wakefield. Then reload back to Lesmahagow. Starting salary is 39,774 per annum (including night shift allowance) , based on 48 hours per week. About the Role As a Class 1 Driver, you will: Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed. Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability. Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers\’ expectations are met. Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices. Essential Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Passionate about providing excellent customer service. Ability to work to deadlines. Confident, polite, and a team player.
