Ladbroke Hall is looking for experienced, personable and service-driven waiters.
This is an exciting role to support within in the restaurant team at a prestigious restaurant in Kensington & Chelsea, bringing an Italian fine dining flavour to West London.
With high-profile chef, Emanuele Pollini, as culinary director, this is an incredible opportunity to work in a grade-2 listed building, with an art gallery and patron programme attached.
You will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day restaurant operations, looking after our customers while they dine and drink in each of the restaurant spaces. Working with the team to prepare the restaurant/garden terrace before service. Working closely with all team members including management and our kitchen.
Ladbroke Hall endeavours to offer exceptional service to its patrons and guests.
Responsibilities:
The waiter/waitress
- Confidently display knowledge of each of our menus
- Take guests food and drink orders
- Deliver high standards of hospitality and service
- Experience managing guestallergens
- Know the SOP manual
- Attend and participate in daily briefing
- Ensure stocks are ordered and replenished
Skills & Experience:
- Experience working as a waiter in a busy restaurant environment for a minimum 2 years
- Good knowledge of food and wine, with a passion for expanding that knowledge
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine desirablebut not essential
- An eye for detail, with the ability to look ahead and pre-empt issues or challenges
- A positive attitude and willingness to be flexible in helping all other departments
- Punctual, reliable, diplomatic and calm under pressure
- A great memory for names and faces
- You will need to be an excellent communicator with good organisational ability
