Immediate start available. £35k take home, £50k + Vehicle.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join this fantastic company. You will provide high-level service support in this role, including analysing, servicing, and maintaining equipment, alongside some installation work. Extensive travel within the UK and abroad is required, 90% UK and some lovely worldwide trips, Caribbean, New Zealand etc. There are also regular clients that you will visit monthly.

Your day-to-day duties include:

  • Completing service work, ensuring customer and company satisfaction.
  • Handling paperwork (work orders, expenses, service sheets, etc.).
  • Assembling, testing, and repairing machinery.
  • Identifying sales opportunities for spare parts whilst at customer sites.
  • Conducting weekly van checks and upholding HSE standards.
  • Reporting any H&S issues and inspecting safety equipment.
  • Inspecting equipment before use for safety, including lifting equipment, electrical items, COSHH, and fire safety.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Engineer with good experience in a similar role, ideally with a background in grinding, welding, and other mechanical techniques. You should have hands-on experience with hand tools, along with a solid understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. A keen eye for detail, excellent engineering skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. You must be flexible, computer literate, and confident in meeting deadlines while handling multiple tasks. A full, clean UK driving licence is required, and a relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship is preferred. We are looking for someone with a professional, enthusiastic attitude, who is passionate about delivering high-quality work and constantly striving for improvement.
