Part-Time Accounts & Administration Assistant
Location: Ipswich (Onsite)
Hours: 2 days per week, 10:00am – 4:00pm (flexible on days)
Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 pro-rata
Are you an organised and proactive Accounts & Administration Assistant looking for a flexible part-time opportunity? Polkadotfrog are recruiting on behalf of a growing business in Ipswich that is entering an exciting period of expansion. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts & Administration Assistant to join a supportive and ambitious team where you'll play a key role in the day-to-day finance and administrative functions of the business. As the company continues to grow, there is potential for the days and hours to increase in the future.
The Role
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Processing supplier payments
- Raising customer invoices
- Processing employee expenses
- Providing administrative support to the Directors and wider team
- Assisting with general finance and office administration as required
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in a similar finance or accounts administration role
- Proficient in Xero/Sage accounting software
- Confident using Microsoft Excel, with strong spreadsheet skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to manage their workload independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- A strong communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
