This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional administrator to join a lovely, friendly company based in beautiful surroundings. The company works alongside construction companies to help them identify any risks posed by explosives on land earmarked for new developments. You will get to delve into the history of the land to see what it has been used for over the years. Has it been affected by war? Could there be unexploded bombs hanging around?

If you have an interest in history and excellent administration skills with attention to detail, this role could be for you. For the main part, you will be undertaking site-specific historic research into land, collating facts, and analysing findings. You will then go on to create a formal report of your findings and assist in the preparation of Risk Assessment reports.

Due to the slightly remote location, you will need your own car.

Such a lovely and long-standing business with a very interesting role. It’s a wonderful office environment and the team around you are ever so nice. It will be a joy to go to work each day, and they operate 9am – 5pm. There are excellent holidays here too, making it a dream job for the right person.

We are open here, and the right personality is absolutely key; it certainly isn’t your run-of-the-mill role. If you have an interest or maybe a degree in History, this could be of interest to you. However, we really need to see that you have worked within administration, can show that you have an excellent eye for detail, and that you can be professional and enquiring when dealing with customers and people who assist you in your research day to day. If you have research experience, even better, but enthusiasm, interest, and the ability to learn are essential here along with excellent IT skills.
