A Bit About The Job

As part of Aviva's Technical Claims team, we seek an experienced insurance professional with a proven record of handling high-value and complex domestic claims. We operate an in-house claims service for a leading field claims provider, delivering bespoke, hands-on service managing all claim aspects from start to finish.

Your responsibilities include providing customer-focused, cost-effective service by handling household and residential commercial claims from instruction to completion, within financial authority limits. The role involves travel across the UK and may require flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends.

Skills And Experience Needed

  • Experience with complex home claims, including losses over £100,000.
  • Qualified to Cert CII minimum, with aspirations for Dip CII; comparable CILA qualifications are accepted.
  • Deep knowledge of technical insurance principles, with some experience in subrogation, underwriting, and ABI report writing.
  • Understanding of building practices, regulations, property reinstatement, and tendering processes.
  • Proven ability to manage claims from start to finish, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
