We are looking for a quality stonemason who has experience of working with granite, marble and quartz to manufacture kitchen worktops, bath tops and fireplaces as well as other bespoke items. Our clients are mostly contractors supplying kitchens and interior fit outs on large development sites in and around London. We would also like to be able to send you to site for the installation side as well so experience of this would be beneficial, although not essential. But a willingness to learn and be a team player is essential. We have a modern factory with the latest machinery and will supply you with everything you need. A driving licence would also be a benefit.

Job salary (hourly rate): £14

Number of staff needed: 2

Number of working hours (per week): 40

Frequency of paying remuneration: Monthly

Job start date: Immediate

Contract duration: Long-term (over 1 year)

Accommodation: We have a house within walking distance of our factory for people to live at. The cost is £250 per month plus bills which you will sort out yourselves with the other occupants. There will be a maximum of 1 person per room. If there is no room in the house when you arrive, then we will provide you with temporary accommodation.

Place of work: Grays, Essex, UK

We will refund your ticket cost if you travel from Poland (up to 100 GBP).

Requirements:

  • Level of English required: You must prove you can read, write, speak and understand English to at least level B1 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) scale.
  • Professional experience required: At least 2 years experience polishing and shaping stone. It would also be beneficial if you have experience at fitting stone and have a driving licence.
