The role of the Field Service Engineer is to complete installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of compressed air and nitrogen systems, primarily within the Midlands/East Anglia area, as well as nationally. It will include some nights away and some weekend working.

Working with the Team Leader and Service Operations Manager to identify and implement service improvements to ensure that, as a department and business, we strive to improve the delivery of service and communication to our internal and external customers. At the same time supporting the Sales team in identifying new business opportunities.

  • Job salary (hourly rate): £15
  • Number of working hours (per week): 45
  • Place of work: Northamptonshire
  • Frequency of paying remuneration: Monthly
  • Job start date: ASAP
  • Contract duration: Long-term (over 1 year)
  • Accommodation: Will be provided for the first 2 months. Rent excluded. This is likely to be a 1 bedroom house or flat for each employee, with off road parking for the company vehicle (Van). The cost is likely to be £100/week. Any deposit would be loaned by the company and repaid over several months.

We will refund a cost of ticket paid by a worker, when they travel from Poland to your country (maximum of 100 GBP).

Requirements:

  • Level of English required: Good
  • Professional experience required: Engineering qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ/VRQ)
  • Electrical qualifications
  • Full driving license
  • Multi-skilled maintenance engineer with demonstrable fault finding/problem solving skills in industrial, electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • A sound understanding of industrial air compressors, preferably gained through manufacturer training
  • Experience of working with technical staff.
  • Experience of communicating successfully with colleagues, management team and customers.
  • Evidence of accountability in terms of procedures and report writing skills.
  • A competent level of PC skills.
