As our Senior People Experience Manager, you will be responsible for providing guidance to management, resolving employee relations issues and implementing people initiatives that align with Policy Expert’s strategic direction to foster a high-performance culture. You will be part of our People function in the London office. We also have a People Experience team based in our Milton Keynes and Motherwell offices, so collaboration on the implementation of policies and processes is important in this role.
- Building an effective partnering relationship with managers in designated areas of the business to diagnose, develop and implement effective people initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Acting as the first point of contact to resolve complex employee relations issues and subject access requests within allocated business areas and provide guidance, oversight and case management in line with legislation.
- Advising, guiding and supporting line managers on People policies and processes in line with best practice.
- Coaching and supporting managers with the performance review process and providing advice and guidance on action plans to support performance improvement and talent development.
- Advising, guiding and supporting managers on the implementation of organisational change in line with best practice.
- Monitoring and analysing people metrics to identify trends and providing recommendations and insights to the Head of People Experience.
- Supporting and delivering projects as and when required.
- Working collaboratively with our in-house recruitment team and learning and development teams to recruit, retain and develop talent within designated business areas.
- Keeping up to date with current legislation and best practice standards.
Who are you:
- Demonstratable experience within an HR generalist role, or at a Senior HR Manager level within an organisation.
- Proven experience in leading change, driving cultural and performance improvement and managing complex employee relations issues.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and practical experience of its application.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing, with the ability to present complex information and data clearly.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with the People team and a wide range of stakeholders.
- A proactive, results-focused individual with a solution-oriented mindset and a track record of driving change and improvements.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead prioritised projects simultaneously.
- Experience with HR systems.
- CIPD qualification (level 5 or equivalent professional certification in Human Resources) or demonstrable experience.
This role will be based in our London office in a 50/50 Hybrid mode.
