As part of the team working in the P&D Division, you can make a real difference by supporting the provision of Human Resources to our officers and staff across the second largest police force in the UK.

Key responsibilities of the role include –

  • To provide professional expertise and advice, information/data and insight, to scrutinise, support
  • and influence business areas/portfolios.
  • Working directly with the ACC, Command team/staff equivalents, take the lead on the
  • development, shaping and execution of the Organisational, Divisional and local People Plans
  • To drive the organisation’s plans and initiatives within each business area remit inclusive of
  • expectations of leaders, people engagement, role modelling the organisation’s ethics, values and
  • behaviours.
  • To influence HR Centres of Expertise to ensure service delivery meets customers strategic
  • requirements in a timeous and efficient manner.
  • Accountable for supporting strategic organisational change, including organisational design,
  • restructures and supporting the People side of change.
  • To influence, facilitate and direct relevant HR functional areas/resources and priorities through
  • active and effective work planning process as a member of the business area senior management
  • team.

RESIDENCY AND ELIGIBILITY TO WORK IN THE UK
