Independent Non Executive Directors are expected to play a leading role within this structure. The Remuneration and Finance, Audit and Risk committees will be chaired by Independent Non Executive Directors. Where appropriate, Non Executive Directors may also sit on committees they do not chair, ensuring strong independent oversight, continuity and coherence across the governance system.
