Description
Reporting to the Office Manager, you will be required to deal directly with work-based representatives, external enquiries and undertake all aspects of the administration function for the smooth running of the branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the smooth running of day-to-day business
- Manage the membership via the database, proactively and in accordance with members notifications and subscriptions for ‘new, amend and end’, ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Assist with the administration of the Group Insurance scheme for serving officers, retired officers and police staff.
- Distribute information to all new recruits, transferees, and police staff.
- Review and follow up for returns.
- Answering both email & telephone enquiries.
- Providing administrative assistance to the full-time Board Principal Officers, including taking minutes at meetings as directed by the Office Manager when required and where practical.
- Update and maintain the Branch website at the direction of the Office Manager.
- Housekeeping, hospitality, and reception duties in conjunction with the Office Manager.
- In the Office Manager’s absence, deputising for the Office Manager when required.
- Any other relevant duties as directed by the Office Manager and/or Branch Secretary.
