Salary starting at £38,000 per annum. The Event Management Officer will support the event planning and coordination team in organising, managing, and executing both online and in-person events. This experienced position requires hands-on experience in event administration and management, ideal for those building on their experience and requires essential skills in logistics, client relations, vendor management, and event execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on the preparation, planning and delivery of events.
- Communicate with event stakeholders, delegates, vendors, and clients to ensure alignment with event requirements.
- Maintain event project timelines and update team members and stakeholders on event progress.
- Arrange event venues, transportation, and accommodation for attendees and staff.
- Lead on stakeholder and colleague communications to manage orders with event suppliers.
- Provide coordination support during events and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records for all event-related documents.
- Prepare post-event reports and evaluations.
What you need to succeed in the role:
- Be proactive and adaptable with a strong willingness to take responsibility for issues and events.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional attitude and strong customer service orientation.
- A degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record in event coordination or administration.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of budgeting and financial tracking for events.
