We're currently looking for a Press Office Intern to join our Public Relations and Communications team, playing a key role in establishing our premium electric performance brand in the UK. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create meaningful change.
The PR and Communications team works across external and internal communications on both a B2B and B2C basis, working in tandem with other departments to achieve success. This exciting role offers a breadth of experience and knowledge, reporting directly into the Polestar UK PR Manager.
This position is located at Polestar UK Headquarters in Bicester, Oxfordshire, with a hybrid work model: three days on site per week with two days remote. Some UK-based travel for PR event work will be required.
Responsibilities- Coverage collation: collate all Polestar-related coverage in the UK on a daily basis, report to the PR team, and create reports for the wider business.
- Press fleet management: manage our fleet of Polestars for media use, liaise with journalists daily, increase utilisation of our cars, and aid brand awareness.
- Supporting internal communications: work with the PR Manager on ways to keep up internal morale, weekly communications with the whole UK organisation, and manage internal events.
- Supporting event management: work with the PR team and external events agency to ideate, create and manage PR events such as first drives, range days and Polestar Space openings.
- Supporting editorial ideas and campaigns: work with the PR team and external PR agency to create editorial ideas for UK-based media to drive brand awareness of Polestar.
In order to succeed in this role, you should possess tenacity, flexibility, curiosity, and be a true team player with the ability to take initiative, meet deadlines and deliver efficiently.

In the process of gaining, or just graduated from, a degree in public relations, communications, marketing or a similar field. At least three A levels graded C or above. Polestar is an international company with diverse backgrounds represented. English is the language of written and spoken communication.
This is a 54‐week full‐time fixed‐term contract, best suited to someone looking to gain experience in a press office role for a placement year while still at university or newly graduated.
