As a Post-Production Assistant, you’ll be supporting post-production by ensuring projects run smoothly, reflecting a good balance of administrative support, operational awareness, and developmental contribution. As an outsourcer it is high quality that brings clients back, and it is returning clients that keep the awards coming.

PREPARATION

Support a Post Production Coordinator (PPC) by prepping tools, coordinating workload, updating stakeholders and actioning items in a timely manner. Help organise active projects to keep them running on schedule and as accurately as possible.

SCHEDULING

Assist with allocating work out to freelancers using department’s best practices and tools. Assist updating project records; including documentation, tracking, and diaries. Maintain attention to detail to ensure all allocated projects run smoothly. Be quick, resourceful and adaptable to ever changing tasks and/or deadlines.

TRACKING

Raise any workflow obstacles to PPCs as they arise in a fast-paced environment. Support tracking project progress, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are up to standard. Achieve Audio Technical QA across post-production projects, maintaining our high standards. Attend weekly team meetings.

DEVELOPMENT

Contribute to improving tools or participating in team retrospectives of our post-production services, processes, and workflows as part of a global team.

KNOWLEDGE

Familiarity with technical tools such as Pro-Tools, Reaper, Audition and/or RX. Understanding of technical stages such as dialogue editing, audio mastering and balancing levels. Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Teams, Excel and Word. Enthusiastic about audio technology and passionate about video games.

EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in an audio production or post-production environment. Experience working with a high volume of files across multiple projects and languages. Practiced in tracking progress using spreadsheets or project management software. Collaborated effectively with team members at all levels to meet project goals.

SKILLS

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English for liaising across departments. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to raise issues when unsure. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Effective time management: able to work under tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
