Internal Communications Manager Side is looking for a talented Internal Communications Manager to support the company at a global level. We’re looking for someone with at least five years' experience, who can confidently walk in as an adviser and innovator for our internal comms practices. Having recently rebranded, Side is in a phase of experimentation and exploration, so you won’t be walking into a set structure in this role. From an employee standpoint, this rebrand brought five legacy teams together under one brand name, so the focus for you as our Internal Communications Manager will be creating clear comms processes that work for the new set up.
As we continue to creatively direct what makes sense for the new brand, we are looking for someone who feels both comfortable and excited by the prospect of a blank canvas, not intimidated by it.
- Support the global team and provide tailored regional counsel for internal comms to our local studio heads.
- Design accessible internal comms processes to keep our teams and leadership connected.
- Spot and remove boundaries that are impeding on our internal comms.
- Take part in the annual review process, providing feedback and supervision as required.
- Drive the practice, increase visibility of internal comms to the company and ensure that we are actively architecting our approaches in collaboration with other teams.
- Attend external and internal events as required; travel will be required for this role.
You’re organized, self-motivated and visionary—you’re someone who already leads meetings and activities comfortably and can see a project through from ideation to execution. You have worked with C-Suite and senior leadership before and feel confident advising to that level. You’re a strong internal communicator, you can quickly understand how teams need to collaborate and the most effective comms to facilitate that. You have experience connecting multiple comms streams (we have teams that cross industries, time zones, languages, devices, tech systems) – keeping everyone connected is a challenge.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in B2B internal comms.
- Ability to operate with a high level of autonomy.
- Experience navigating large organizations.
- Ability to manage multi-streams of communication.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, succeed under pressure, and roll with the demands of the business (and how quickly things change).
- Experience juggling multiple projects at one time, preferably in multiple time zones.
- Familiarity with the gaming industry and overall enthusiasm for gaming is a massive plus.
This is a full-time role with local benefits and studio perks.
